What is an abnormal load?
An abnormal load is any load that exceeds the limits, as set out in the Road Traffic Rules.
In Ireland, according to the Road Traffic rules, the maximum overall height of a vehicle combination shall not exceed 4.65m, and the overall width cannot exceed 2.90m, with the overall length not exceeding 16.50m.
